The Ottawa Hospital Clinical Nurses Expert program helps novice nurses transition to the workplace more smoothly and effectively by pairing them with experienced nurses as mentors.
This two year program is helping Ottawa Hospital deliver better care for patients and has significantly improved nurse retention and satisfaction levels, by providing a supportive coaching environment that reduces the stress associated with the demands of clinical nursing.
