Extreme Temperature Fact Sheets

Ontario is subject to extreme temperatures and care needs to be taken on days when the temperatures are exceptionally hot or cold. Exposure to extreme temperatures, whether indoors or outside, can cause other serious or life-threatening health problems.

To keep you and your family safe, you should know how to prevent heat and cold related health problems, as well as know what to do if there is an extreme temperature event. You can avoid temperature related injury by following the weather safety tips in this section of the web.
