Fairness for Military Families Act (Employment Standards and Health Insurance), 2007
The McGuinty government has introduced the Fairness for Military Families Act (Employment Standards and Health Insurance), 2007 in support of military families to ensure they qualify for all provincially funded health services for which Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) coverage is required immediately upon taking residence in Ontario.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Act, 2006 The Traditional Chinese Medicine Act, 2006 establishes a new, self-financing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. The College has the authority to set standards of practice and entry to practice requirements for the profession and to ensure that it is regulated in the public interest.
Local Health System Integration Act, 2006
The Ontario government is changing the delivery of health care services through Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) and the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006. The legislation places significant decision-making power at the community level and focuses the local health system on the community's needs.
